Recently, we faced a heart-breaking incident when our young colleague, Mr. Akashay Ladkat from Pune, tragically lost his life in a road accident at just 26 years of age. In such difficult times, families often struggle to navigate the formalities of insurance claims and financial support. However, our HR team, led by Mr. Deepak Bhalerao (Compliance Head) and Mr. Vishal Kolaskar (HR Head), took immediate action to ensure the family received the support they needed.
With EPF, EDLI (Employees’ Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme), and Pension benefits, claims typically take 60 days to process. However, understanding the urgency of the situation, Mr. Bhalerao and Mr. Kolaskar worked tirelessly—completing all necessary documentation and compliance with the EPF Department—ensuring that the family received the benefits within just 30 days. Their relentless follow-ups, personal contacts, and commitment to employee welfare made all the difference.
This was more than just fulfilling a responsibility. It was about helping a grieving family get the financial support they needed when they needed it most.
In recognition of these exceptional efforts, Mr. Akashay Ladkat’s parents personally visited our head office to express their heartfelt gratitude. In the presence of our respected Managing Director, Mr. Hemant Kumar Singh, they presented a bouquet to Mr. Deepak Bhalerao and Mr. Vishal Kolaskar, acknowledging their unwavering support—not just professionally, but also with deep compassion during their time of loss.
